digg Share this on Facebook Huffpost - Adrianne Curry: I Love To Play 'World Of Warcraft' Naked And Stoned (PHOTO) "

Adrianne Curry, America's Next Top Model winner, recently announced via Twitter her favorite way to spend a Sunday: playing World of Warcraft "butt naked" and "stoned."

On Sunday she tweeted:

jumping into shower.going to spend my afternoon playing World Of Warcraft butt naked&stoned.Perfect Sunday!

She also took and tweeted out a picture of herself wearing a headset, sans clothes. (Caption, in case there was any confusion: "me...naked...playing World Of Warcraft"). Photo

Hot video games for holiday shopping

Good morning bloggers!
its thanksgiving week. my all time favorite holiday. endless amounts of eating not to mention the pumpkin pie and stuffing yum! anyways browsing the google news as usual. i found this list of hot new video games for the holiday season. happy holidays!

here are a few the complete list will be under " original article"

Shooters

These games are all about firepower. There is very little in the way of plot other than "kill the other guys." But they satisfy the gamer who just wants to see how many aliens, soldiers and spaceships they can destroy.

"Halo 3: ODST" (Bungie; Microsoft) is a first-person shooter expansion of "Halo 3" that has a different feel than its previous incarnation. The game-play is similar, but the campaign is fresh with a new, character-driven storyline. "Halo 3: ODST" is available only on the Xbox 360 and is rated M (Mature -- blood, language, violence).

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" has been a monster hit."Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" (Infinity Ward; Activision) offers a compelling counter-terrorism storyline, a special mode for co-op play and a return to multiplayer action that "Call of Duty" fans enjoy. The game's November 10 debut was the highest-grossing launch in entertainment history. Available on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC and rated M (Mature -- blood, drug reference, intense violence, language).

"Star Trek D-A-C" (Naked Sky Entertainment; Paramount) is a top-down shooter game based on the "Star Trek" movie that came out last summer. The game is stylized more like a classic arcade game -- think Asteroids -- but offers multiplayer as well as single-player mode. There aren't any Klingon ships to destroy, but you can take out your Trek aggression against the Romulans. Available on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and rated E (Everybody -- fantasy violence).

"Borderlands" (Gearbox; 2K Games) transports the player to the strange and hostile world of Pandora where a planet believed to be full of minerals is inhabited only by bandits and myths ... and fortune. The game is a first-person shooter, but does have some elements of role-playing with four separate characters to try on or share with your friends. Available on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and rated M (Mature -- blood and gore, intense violence, mature humor, strong language).

"Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles" (Cavia, Capcom) is a linear shooter game which makes its heroes navigate zombie-infected towns in South America. Available only on the Wii and rated M (Mature -- blood and gore, intense violence, language).

l4d2

Left 4 Dead 2 is a cooperative first-person shooter game. It is the sequel to Valve Corporation's award-winning Left 4 Dead. The game launched on November 17, 2009, for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360.[2] It will build upon the cooperatively focused gameplay of the original and will be using Valve's proprietary Source engine, the same game engine used in Left 4 Dead. The game made its world premiere at E3 2009 with a trailer during the Microsoft press event.[3]

Like the original, Left 4 Dead 2 is set during the aftermath of an apocalyptic pandemic, and focuses on four survivors fighting against hordes of the infected. The survivors must fight their way through levels, interspersed with safehouses that act as checkpoints, with the goal of reaching a rescue vehicle at the campaign's finale. The gameplay is procedurally altered by an artificial intelligence engine dubbed the "Director" that monitors the players' performance and alters the scenario to provide a dynamic challenge for the players as they progress. Several new features will be introduced, such as new types of infected, melee weapons, and a story-arc that connects each of the game's five campaigns together.[4]

The game has attracted an unusually high volume of pre-release controversy. It has received a combination of positive, negative, critical, and community reactions. There also have been concerns about the game's graphic content, as seen from the alterations made to the cover art[5] as well as the refusal of classification by the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification for the unmodified edition.[

Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2.

The day has come folks! Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is finally here.
again writing a blog about video games are not my strongest point.. but im learning more and more everyday.

For the next few weeks or so i wont be seeing about half of my friends, because the release of this game. haha. its pretty cool tho.. i know how it is to have a passion for something and not being able to wait till it comes out. my best Friend works at blockbuster and shes was telling me about how many copies were reserved and the number amazed me considering we live in a pretty small city but i guess other pp, from surrounding cities ordered from them as well.

soo to all those who purchased this game, have fun, and finally your wait is over!
just remember don't forget about your Friends! haha.

ohh and here's a review of the game i found on google news.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2," almost certain to be the year's best-selling video game, has also become its most notorious. That's because of a prerelease leak showing a terrorist raid on an airport — exactly the sort of thing that's guaranteed to rile up anti-violence watchdogs and generate free publicity.

Now that I've played "Modern Warfare 2" (Activision, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, $59.99), I can report that the airport massacre is absolutely essential to its story. The rationale behind your character's participation in the assault, however, is idiotic: You're really a good guy who has infiltrated the terrorist cell. So fire away.

The remainder of "MW2" deals with the repercussions from the terrorist attack, which causes escalating global tensions to explode into all-out war. Tanks rumble through the Virginia suburbs, helicopters circle the Washington Monument and millions die — all because of an awesomely ill-conceived plan to get intel on a terrorist.

I'm not giving anything away that you haven't already seen in Activision's TV ads. The sight of D.C. in flames is spectacular, and it's a terrific setting for virtual combat. "MW2" is filled with such mind-blowing set pieces, from the slums of Rio de Janeiro to the snowy mountains of Russia.

It's in getting from one set piece to the next that developer Infinity Ward stumbles. The overarching story concerns a special forces team's efforts to bring down Vladimir Makarov, the terrorist mastermind who engineered the airport attack. But it's easy to lose sight of that goal when the White House is under siege.

Granted, the plot isn't that much more ridiculous than a typical season of "24." In comparison with some other video games — say, "Metal Gear Solid 4" — the "MW2" script is almost elegant.

And most players won't give much thought to the story, given the frenetic, headlong action. The controls are tight, giving you an intuitive feel for even the most exotic weapons. Combat varies nicely between levels: Sometimes you need to be sneaky, sometimes you need to be destructive, and sometimes you just need to run like hell. Occasionally it's difficult to figure out what your goal is, but such confusion isn't entirely out of place in the fog of combat.

The solo campaign is short — about eight hours — and "Modern Warfare" veterans will race through it to get to the multiplayer offerings. The major innovation is a collection of 23 cooperative, two-player missions, which can be completed online or with a friend on the same couch. It also has a full complement of competitive modes, with enough new maps, weapons and gameplay tweaks to keep franchise fans fighting for months.

If you're into online combat, "MW2" is a must-buy. I just wish Infinity Ward had taken the time to write a more coherent story for the single-player adventure. Three stars out of four.

Beatles help boost music videogame biz

When i first heard that Rock Band was coming out with a Beatles edition i was super excited. I love the Beatles.. who doesn't love them? im guessing no one because according to this article i found the Bealtles helped boost video game sales that were starting to decrease

" By Antony Bruno

DENVER (Billboard) - The music game genre experienced a much-needed lift in September on the backs of new releases "The Beatles: Rock Band" and "Guitar Hero 5."

MTV's Beatles videogame, released September 9, won the battle with total unit sales of 595,000, according to the NPD Group, making it the third-best selling game of the month overall behind "Halo 3: ODST" and "Madden NFL 10." Activision's "Guitar Hero 5," released September 1, ranked fourth overall for the month with 499,000 in sales.

Both totals are on par with that of first-month sales for the flagship music offerings from both companies last year. Activision's "Guitar Hero World Tour" had first-month sales of 534,000 units last year, while "Rock Band 2" sold just over 238,000 copies its first month.

From a revenue standpoint, the Beatles game raked in the second-best totals for the month, driven primarily by the fact that the average game sold for 130 percent more than other games. This was due to the many versions of the game that sold with more expensive custom controllers, such as the $250 premium edition that included replica versions of the Fab Four's instruments. Neither NPD Group or MTV would release specific figures on bundle sales.

Combined, however, both "The Beatles: Rock Band" and "Guitar Hero 5" drove a 72 percent increase in revenue for the music game genre over September 2008. From both a revenue and unit sales standpoint, the results represent good news for a music industry with vested interest in the continued popularity of the music game genre.

Year-over-year revenue for the genre had fallen 46 percent this year through August, sparking speculation that the category was a passing fad. But that decline was likely more a function of fewer and cheaper music games hitting the market this year, compared with 2008, until September's dual high-profile releases."

Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 2.

October 15, 2009 - Calling Modern Warfare 2 anything but the "most anticipated game of the year" at this point would be a gross understatement. Any and all news on the game is considered monumental. All Game of the Year talks I have(not speaking for IGN mind you; just me) aren't about what games could win, but what games could win over Modern Warfare 2. Every one's thinking it, but I'll happily be the one to actually say it.

So basically when i started writing this blog i wanted to do some research on it beforehand.. because well lets face it im not much of a video game expert. ive probably played about 10 games in total my whole life haha.

but i do have alot of friends who enjoy playing so i hear certain names of different games.. the most recent one ive been hearing about besides left for dead 2 is call of duty.. and i was just wondering..

i know with every new edition there is something more advance then the original version.. what what i don't get is how do you know when its coming out, i never once see a commercial , i anything its probably just a cardboard cut out when i walk by a store in the mall.. or maybe a ad in a magazine but , how does everyone know what the new advance special features are??

NBA 2K10

About a week ago , one of my really good friends waited till midnight and went to go buy 2k10. its funny because i had never even heard if his.. and thanks to twitter.. i know know that alot of my Friends like playing this game.

i think its actually pretty neat, my Friend started describing some of the new features to me.. and although i don't really remember word for word , i do remember the key words.

basically he said you can create your own player and then go to this training camp where if your good enough you can be considered into the draft.. once you make it to the draft you can be picked up by different teams.. or something like that haha maybe someone else knows more about this.

Toy Story Mania

I can't believe I bought this game! -_- for $4.99 too. I have to tell you it's a pretty cool game! If you guys been on the Disney's California Adventure and haven't experienced Toy Story Mania, then you guys are wack! haha This has got to be better than buzzlight year (in Disneyland Resort). I just love this game is very entertaining! I bought it on my phone now. Let me tell you, the graphics are amazing! It's a little hard to get used to with some of the games. It honestly did keep me busy, and I can't wait to go back to DCA and have some fun with it!

"-Travel with Buzz into outer space! Toss rings to launch spaceships and capture aliens in Buzz Lightyear’s Flying Tossers.
-Balloons are popping up everywhere! Get ready to launch your darts in Bo Peep's Baaa-loon Pop.
-Gear up for target practice! Aim, shoot and break some plates! Keep your guard up and watch out for those tanks in Green Army Men Shoot Camp.
-The barnyard animals are acting silly and running all over the place! Toss eggs at them and don’t let them get loose in Hamm’ n Eggs.
-Test your skills in Woody’s Rootin' Tootin' Shootin' Gallery! Quickly draw your darts and see how many targets you can hit."

Boxed In

I know another iPhone App! You gotta understand I love playing games on my iPhone. Boxed in is a really great app that is simple, yet challenging. I'm probably on level 23 right now and it's so hard to master! The levels in Boxed In become increasingly more difficult to solve, though the first few are pretty simple. This is good though, because it gives you a chance to become familiar with the game without being intimidated. I was actually surprised at how challenging the levels became after making my way past the first ten or so. There is a restart level button included to quickly start over if you get stuck, but an undo last move option is absent and should be included both for the sake of the puzzle and for correcting unintended moves.
"Boxed in has an auto-save feature and you can scroll through to replay previous levels or advance to subsequent levels if a particular level stumps you. Boxed In also records solved levels with a green check mark in the upper right corner and lets you play music from your library."

Cooking Dash Review for iPhone

I bought this game in hopes that it would turn out like Sally's Spa. It has the same concept, but other than that it was really entertaining. It is also hard to master! I usually get expert when it comes to Sally's Spa, but when it comes to Cooking Dash, I can barely make my goal. I don't really enjoy the graphics. It does look nice, but it's hard to get what you want because everything is so cramped on the iPhone. This is over all a great game. One thing I am concerned about is the orders. The graphics are so tiny or just not clear for a player to understand what a customer wants. "Cooking Dash is a long awaited sequel to Diner Dash and it has got better. The chef has packed up and left to star in a cooking show, and leaves Flo and her Grandma to run the diner. You get into more of a realistic experience as you fry, grill and blend your way to the top of the restaurant game."

Sally's Spa Review

I bought this game for my iPhone, and I have to say it is the best time management game out there! haha I got addicted! My boyfriend thought it was stupid and he didn't even want to try it. But what do you know he bought it for his iPhone because it was so addicting. I think this game has great graphics! The interface is so beautifully done. Basically, Sally runs her own spa. The challenges get harder and harder. You have to set a sauna up, do facials, do eyebrows, massage, and set massage certain message stones. You also have a spa to turn on and choose different spa beads that fit the customers taste. Then a manicure and pedicure. It's pretty addicting! haha I suggest you buy it! It's worth your money. I bought it for $0.99 but my boyfriend bought it for $2.99 I think! haha "On the other hand, the lack of extreme difficulty might prove just right for time management fans who like their clicking to be a little less stressful. The sounds of gurgling water and soothing music, and cheerful graphics that seem almost anime-inspired, add to the game's appeal."

Wii Fit

I've been on this thing for a couple weeks now, and I absolutely love it. I love how it could determine your BMI (Body Mass Index) and your weight. How awesome is that? When I'm actually done working out I can feel my sides really working out. My abs are really forming at this point, I'm just disappointed that it knows when you last logged in or not. I love the body test it's really fun! It tells you your wii fit age. I'm 20 and my last wii fit age is 27. FML x100 haha At the core of the Wii Fit experience is the new balance board, an elegant-looking yet surprisingly sturdy peripheral which features several internal scales that can detect changes in weight and pressure as you're standing on it. The board--which is also quite hefty at roughly 8.8 lbs (4kgs)--interacts wirelessly with the Wii, and takes four AA batteries. The board has four rubber feet to help prevent it from slipping on smooth surfaces. Although most users of Wii Fit will probably not take the game's BMI or fitness age calls too seriously, but there's bound to be some overanxious player who does.

Brain Challenge Review

I know a lot of you have tried this game if you guys have a Nintendo DS. I actually found this game to be quite challenging. You basically know all the stuff, but you learned it 1st grade sorta thing. I think this is an awesome game to play and it could be very addicting. I believe they also have this for the iPhone as well and even the Blackberry. I will try out the iPhone app for this asap and give you guys a good review on it. If you're the type of person that loves brain games and has been dying for another decent one to come out so you can prove your cognitive prowess, then Brain Challenge is the third-party answer to your prayers. For the rest of us, who have likely played brain games before, this title isn't going to offer a tremendous amount of original features. "The Stress Test mode is different and does make the task of performing simple mind tasks more exciting. And hey, if the only motivation you need is hot doctors, Brain Challenge has the floating head of Dr. Kawashima beat."

Wii Sports Resort Review

Since me and my family just got the Wii & the Wii fit, we're all stoked to see what other games are there for our best interest. We really want to get a good workout of this, so hopefully that we could find some good active ones. So I've been seeing these commercials about the Wii Sports Resort. And I want one! but what sucks about it is that you have to buy a freaking motion plus thing to add on to it. That's what I don't like about Nintendo. lol They just keep adding on stuff for games that are mandatory to play with it. Here is what the reviews said, "And it's the overall accessibility that makes Wii Sports Resort a must-have. Just as the original Wii Sports was a great showcase of what the Wii Remote could do, so too is Wii Sports Resort a great advertisement for the capabilities of the Wii MotionPlus. It may not have lasting single-player appeal, but with so many compelling and downright fun games to play with friends, Nintendo has created another winner that can be picked up and enjoyed by gamers of all levels. If you're itching for a holiday and have got a few friends who want to tag along, then you should definitely drop by the Wii Sports Resort. "

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

So I've heard that if you own a Wii, then you are more likely to enjoy Super Smash Bros. It's like Super Mario brothers, from the old school Nintendo, but everything seems more livlier! haha It's a great game, that I think that all Super Mario fans should buy. For me, it brings back old school memories. haha I hope that they continue to do more games! I really need to buy myself a steering wheel for the nintendo wii. I feel like you could do more stuff with it (= I must get this game though! ASAP! "Super Smash Bros. Brawl is easily one of the most impressive-looking games on the Nintendo Wii, and even when four players are battling each other onscreen at once in the largest levels, the frame rate never drops once. All of the characters look stunning in their new designs, and their every action, from their taunts to the expressions they make when on the receiving end of a blow, is exceptionally well animated." -cnet

The Beatles: Rock Band

I'm a hugmongo fan of The Beatles. They been around for quite some time now and even music on the radio nowadays can't even compare to The Beatles. I know not everyone is going to agree with me on what I said but I much rather listen to The Beatles than radio music about getting dollar dollar bills ya'll or booty everywhere. It gets old you know? Or well, at least to me. This is Classic. Can't even compare.
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Rock Band. I played it like a couple of times, here and there. But after I heard about the Rock Band: The Beatles coming out on September 9, 2009 I told my boyfriend to pre-order for me. I'm super excited to play it. I know The Beatles isn't some crazy rock band music but whatever... it's The Beatles!!! Haha.
The game will be shipped as a bundle with themed instrument controllers and as a standalone game for which all existing Rock Band and compatible music game accessories can be used. The game will incorporate many of the gameplay features of the Rock Band series; however, the game will not be an expansion pack for the Rock Band series, and content for it and other Rock Band titles will not be cross-compatible; Harmonix co-founder Alex Rigopulos describes the game as "... a new, full game title production built from the ground up." -Wikipedia

hello everyone.. i hope all you guys had a great weekend, sadly its back to work now:/ haha. anyways this weekend i was playing wii sports with my little sister .. and you know what after playing for a certain amount of hours i came the the concluion that this is actually a really great workout.. cause okay your playing baseball and you throw the ball .. then you ca play tenis and hit the ball back and fourth.. then for the ultimate workout you have boxing! mannn oo mannn does thet get tiring after awhile. i kid you not the next day my arm was a little sore hahaha>

SIMS :]

SIMS!
WOW what a game that is! hahaha i remember playing in high school and i would literally stay on the computer for hours playing. although i haven't played for while im sure that if i turned it back on and played will pretty much become addicted again.

to be honest the only reason i wrote about SIMS is because i was sitting here trying to think what video games to write about and to be honest i couldn't think of any.. well any that already haven't been mentioned. so i figured since i use to be a SIMS-a_holic i might as well talk about this very very addicting computer game.

For those who have never played i will try to explain it. so here it goes.
THE SIMS are people who live in SIM city.. and its a suburban house hold neighborhood.. well basically what you do is you make a life as a sim.. like for example you have kids and get married, you go on dates and go shopping.. basically like real life expect your the master behind all the decisions. You can also make your sim person.. like design how they look and what they wear.

i know i know.. it doesn't sound like fun but you gt to chose all emotions and all there actions.. and it pretty much addicting. anyways i no longer have my sim games.. because when i moved i don't know where they went.. and just recently i have been wanting to go on and play. i looked it up on ebay and there like ruin anywhere from 25 to 5 dollars. so the next time i go to target im going to buy sims or maybe just order online i haven't decided yet. hahaha those who have never played, i guarantee you'll like it.

Videogames Saving Livesa and Inspiring

A few years back, I heard about surgeons practicing their eye-hand coordination by playing videogames! I was happy to heard that videogames were receiving some positive light aside from their anti-social causing, minding-numbing affects on children. I recently found an article, although it dates back to 2008, is still positive news that I think is relevant to share. The article is from the SF Chronicle and is written by Bernadette Tansey and Ryan Kim, titled, Startup uses Videogames to Heal Young People.

The non profit organization, HopeLab of Redwood City, is hoping to use videogames as a "powerful means to improve the health habits of young people." The organization created a game called "Re-Mission." The goal was to motivated young cancer patients to stay on top of their medication. Now, the organization is fighting childhood obesity, by designing a game that will get children to actively play together. Serious Games Initative co-founder, Ben Swayer, says, "Re-Mission clinical trials proved that games can help tackle real-world problems." If you check out the game on the net, you'll be amazed at the graphics and creativity of the game.

You can go on the website www.re-mission.net and navigate the website. I think you'll be quite touched at the efforts of the game and closeness of the community on the website. You'll find a link to inspiring art and poetry. There's even a link to a complete story behind the game. It's worth checking out just to see the efforts being exerted to suppport cancer patients.

Wii Fit? Does It Actually Work?

A few weeks back, I wrote a blog about the Wii Fit. I said that it appeared to be a really fun and effective way to work out. While I have never used the Wii Fit, my opinions were based on the workout that I obtained from playing other Wii games, such as boxing. A few days back, I saw a news article that now claims the Wii Fit may not be as helpful in losing weight as everyone claims. This claim was counter-attacked by a man, who claimed, the Wii Fit actually help him lose many pounds and changed his life. In an article on the OC Register, writer Matt Design, tried the Wii Fit for himself and said, "Yes. Within minutes of starting the strength-training program..I was sweating."

I guess with anything new, the media or the public, likes to scrutinize and create some kind of controversy just for fun. However, when it comes to fitness, you get as much of a work out as the effort you put in. Matt Design says he started with push ups and the program had him doing "side planks", where you turn and support your body with one hand. In my opinion, this sounds quite rigorous. The deep breathing exercises had him feeling calm and relaxed and the yoga poses had him stretching muscles he didn't even know he had!

Despite what the media may report, my opinion of the Wii Fit still stands. In an era where obesity and diabete occurrence are out of the roof, anything that can make exercise fun for anyone, is a step in the right direction. I don't think the Wii Fit should replace any exercise routine that you may already have. If you go jogging outside for 30 minutes, then by all means, keep at it! If you go to the gym weekly, then don't cancel your memembership for the Wii Fit! But if you're someone who maybe is a little more introvert or likes the indoors more, or maybe you need a more fun concept to motivate you to start working out and getting moving, then I think the Wii Fit is still a great solution.

Clueless When It Comes To Video Games?

Im a girl, and growing up i played more dress up then i did video games. So naturally my fascination for them is very limited. Although over time ive grown quite found of a couple of them, you know the ones:Guitar hero, madden, halo, grand theft auto, rock band. And Even though i dont play them on a day to day basis, yet along a month to month basis, when i do play i always have a good time.
Recently I've discovered that there's something called xbox live. hahaha i know some of you reading this may laugh, but to be honest ive only known about it for about a year or so, maybe even less.

Back to my point, i actually found it very interesting that you can play with your friends from down the street or even from different states. Its great too because you have this head set and you can communicate with one another without having to actually be in the same room.

i know i might be a little late on this but for those who dont know i'll break it down for you.
basically with xbox live 360 you can:
-Create an online Gamer Profile
-Access the Xbox Live Marketplace
-Engage in voice and text messaging
-Talk to a single friend at a time using voice chat
-Receive video messages from Gold level members
-Access massively multiplayer online games

im not an expert at all on this kind of stuff , but for those girls out there like me who are kinda clueless when it comes to video games i figured this would be a good little insight for you.

Wii Becomes Top Selling Video Game Console

When I heard on the news that Wii has become the top selling video game console, I wasn't suprise one bit. I first played the Wii a few holidays ago when my brother bought it home for the family to play. It was the most fun I had with my family that I can remember. I remember watching my parents put on the boxing gloves (literally) and then went at it. My mom, hunched over, taking wild, uncalculated swings at my dad. And my dad, poised, confident, stood his ground and successfully and calmly knocked her out. Not the fighting type? The Wii makes sure it has game fit for anyone and everyone. My brothers played a silly soccer game, while my sisters and I battled eachother at tennis.

It is no wonder that Wii sales has topped even the ever so popular xBOX 360, which went on the market a year before the Wii. The xBOX bought in sales of over 10 million, which gave its maker the confidence to say that it would be more popular than Wii or PS3. But continuing to be out of stock, the Wii proves to be the more popular one, and rightly so.

"As we have demonstrated this week during the E3 summit, Wii continues to pioneer new ways for people to interact with their video games and with one another," Nintendo marketing vice president Cammie Dunaway said in a statement. And interaction they have succeeded. Have you tried the Wii FIT? At about 129.97 for a starter bundle, you can begin your road to fitness and healthiness again. The Wii fit allows you to do yoga, strength exercises, and cardio! This may sound to good to be true, but reviews have proven that the Wii fit lives up to it's advertisments.
If you can get your hand on a Wii, I'd say it's an investment worth its money for health and fun!

Rock Band Review

I'm pretty sure almost everyone knows what Rock band is. It's a game that gives you the illusion that you could play in a band with the instruments that they give you. I think that it's a pretty good price. I believe it's under 200 or no more than 200. It's really good game that can bring your friends and family together:
Metallica, The Ramones, The Rolling Stones -- these are some of the legendary bands in rock. And now, thanks to Harmonix's Rock Band, you and your friends can join the legendary pantheon of rock gods. The latest game from Harmonix ups the ante on other music titles by combining guitars, drums, and singing into one awesome package. You and your friends will rock out with some of the greatest bands in history. And Fall Out Boy. While Rock Band doesn't offer the insanely intense (and perhaps impossible) challenge of Guitar Hero III, it's a game that everyone will have fun playing. This may just be among the best party games ever released.

The Rock Band box set comes with the game, a wired guitar, a wired mic, a wired drum kit, and a USB hub so you can plug-and-play all of these on your 360. If you want a full four-player band with bass guitarist, you'll need to purchase a separate guitar or use one from Guitar Hero. At $169.99 and with 45 licensed tracks (and 13 bonus songs) included, Rock Band is a fairly good deal. You will certainly get your money's worth playing the engrossing and seemingly never-ending career mode. So long as you have some friends or paid associates willing to jam, Rock Band will give you plenty of reasons to sing for joy.

Rock Band has one major difference from other music games: it's not about one person's experience. This is a group effort and the gameplay is geared towards teamwork. While the four members of your band must all be concerned with their own performances, you must work together to earn epic scores in Rock Band. Each instrument comes with its own Overdrive (AKA Star Power) system. Individually, they kick in a x2 multiplier for the player who enters Overdrive. But you can stack other member's Overdrives to creative massive multipliers for the entire group. Get all four members in Overdrive at the same time for a bonus x8. To do this, though, requires communication with your other team members.

Continuing the theme of playing together, Overdrive can also be used to save a bandmate. Should your drummer perform poorly and fail out of a song, another player with sufficient energy stored up can go into Overdrive and bring their buddy back from the brink. In fact, if you want to finish a song, someone must save the failed player. The crowd won't stand for losing the backbeat for too long. They will boo you off stage if the band member isn't saved. If you know your guitarist has trouble with the solo in Metallica's "Enter Sandman" you may want to save your Overdrive just in case he needs a rescue.

I think that it's an awesome and entertaining game! That will keep you busy for hours and hours!
